I woke up this morning feeling refreshed after an unusually good sleep. The birds were singing outside and for a very brief moment all felt well with the world.
Then BAM!
The reality of the surreal dystopian state of affairs we are living in today – coronavirus, empty food shelves in supermarkets, quarantine, social distancing, travel bans and more avalanched into my mind shattering what little sense of rightness with the world I had felt. Fear of the unknown boomed its war cry and demanded I follow it into imagined scenarios of doom and gloom. All this and I hadn’t even gotten out of bed and brushed my teeth!
By the time I had gotten my coffee and trusty vape I had managed to claw back some common sense and reason. I drank and puffed away while focusing my mind on today and the strange circumstances we all find ourselves in. My thoughts went to the elderly, infirm and the community I live in. At The Vape Shop we have already put into practice as many offerings as possible to help customers from home deliveries to free hand sanitizer, As a vape outlet there is not much more we can do, apart from offer positive service to all shoppers who are worried. With the new report from Imperial College of London Covid-19 Response Team which states this pandemic could dramatically affect us for up to the next 18 months Governments, businesses and people must now adjust to this unprecedented event since the World War.
Vape Shop Customers
Walking to work it seems business as usual in the town I live in, people milling about, shopping, getting coffees and the like. The cafe’s, while still serving people, now have lots of empty tables whereas before they would be packed appears to be the only difference. Once I arrived at The Vape Shop the customers started pouring in, stocking up and preparing for the worst – a complete shutdown of the Highstreet and local shops. Most say they expect a month’s lockdown to be put in place, so they are eager to stockpile to make sure they don’t run out of their favourite vape juice as well as other home products. They chat about their experience at the local supermarkets and how the shelves are emptied. One vape shop customer told how they watched a supermarket staff who was stacking ice in one of the shop isles get accosted by an irate shopper who shouted at them that they wanted food put out and not ice. The young student assistant, who was probably part time, looked afraid and upset. Unfortunately, this story is not the only one as stockpiling mania takes hold.
Always Open Online
The Vape Shop will always offer our online e liquid ordering service throughout this dark time and unless the post office and delivery companies stop working, which I personally can’t see as how else will the big companies be able to send bills to customers for things like rates, tax, broadband and other such annoying stuff. If this scenario of the post office and delivery companies do stop work, we will offer a personal CONTACTLESS delivery service to local customers, unless this is banned by the Government or goes against the medical and scientific advice. The point is don’t worry, you won’t be left without access to vape products or e liquid, and the same is true of food and home products. The supermarkets have the stock delivered everyday – we won’t run out. Maybe, at a given time, you can’t get hold of something but be assured there is always new stock on its way.

Most people fear change whether consciously or unconsciously. We are creatures of habit and routine. Nobody likes major change in their lives especially when it’s related to an addiction like smoking. This fear of change can keep a person in a negative situation or habit blocking them from experiencing a better life. Changing from smoking the beloved brand of fags to a new form of nicotine delivery device like an ecigarette can be a massive thing for some smokers, especially if they are older. Change requires a new mindset, learning new methodologies such as charging, filling and maintaining vape devices. This can be a huge ask to someone that’s been smoking for 40 years and simply light’s up the fag. As vapers we know that in no time at all the whole ritual associated with an e cigarette becomes second nature and easy. But for some people the prospect of taking on this new way of getting nicotine can seem too much. Today there are so many devices to choose from it boggles the mind. There are simple click and puff vape devices with pre-filled cartridges, top fill tanks, bottom fill tanks, self-build and on and on it goes. It’s no wonder some smokers just think it’s too much to take on. The fear of starting a new way of doing things can be so big that one may be prepared to face the harsh realities of bad health and death than face the powerful fear of change. It’s up to us in the vaping industry to tackle this fear, helping hardened smokers
The Mesh coil, a more recent addition to the sub ohm coil culture, is simply a different type of heating apparatus. Instead of a single wire wrapping around the coil the Mesh coil uses a metal sheet (mesh sheet) with holes in it. This mesh sheet wraps around the whole of the cotton, and because it covers more of the surface of the cotton than a single wire does, when the mesh sheet is heated it heats more cotton which results in more vapour.
Below are 7 of the most common causes for losing flavour taste sensation when vaping.
