When I first picked up the Elux Cyberover P1, I was expecting something disposable-like, given the brand’s reputation. Instead, it felt more like a lightweight metal pod kit pretending to be a disposable for convenience. For the past week, I have had it on hand during my commute, in the kitchen while I cook, and even during a couple of long phone calls where I tend to chain vape without thinking. The big question was whether it worked as an actual daily refillable pod, not just a disposable alternative. It mostly does, with a few quirks worth knowing.

Key Points

Lightweight metal refillable pod kit designed for MTL and restricted lung vaping

Dual Mesh pods with 0.6 ohm included, 0.8 ohm optional

Simple top filling and inhale activation

850mAh battery lasting close to a full day

Airflow slider that genuinely changes the tightness of the draw

Ideal for 50/50 or nic salt e liquids

Specifications

Build Quality and Feel

The brushed aluminium finish surprised me right away. Most entry-level pod systems go for plastic to save weight, but this still manages to stay extremely light. Mine lived in my jeans pocket most days, and I often forgot it was there. The faceted shape looks almost decorative, but it does make it easier to grip during long sessions.

The mouthpiece has a shape that feels natural between the lips, and the pod clicks into place with a soft but confident snap. I do fiddle with devices absent-mindedly, and this one holds firm with no rattling. The only thing I found slightly annoying is the airflow slider being quite small. Adjusting it mid puff becomes a bit awkward, especially when I’m walking.

Coil Performance and Flavour Testing

I used two flavours during my testing week. One was a sweet dessert nic salt I know well, and the other was a plain mint 50/50 freebase. Both behaved better than I expected for small Dual Mesh pods.

The 0.6 ohm pod gives a bit of warmth when I chain vape, especially in the late afternoon when I’m usually sipping coffee and taking longer pulls without meaning to. It never overheated, but I could feel the warmth more than with the 0.8 ohm version. The flavour stays very consistent. I did not get any dry hits, as long as I waited the recommended five minutes after filling a new pod.

The flavour drops slowly over time. On about the fourth refill of the sweeter liquid, it became slightly muted. This is normal for dessert flavours, but worth mentioning because mesh coils usually give you a gentle fade rather than a sudden burnout.

Airflow and Draw Accuracy

I prefer a tight MTL draw for most of the day, especially in the morning, and the 0.8-ohm pod feels perfect for that. When I slide the airflow nearly shut, I get something close to a cigarette-style pull. If you enjoy that proper resistance when using nic salts, it hits the mark.

In the evenings, I sometimes want a looser restricted lung hit. Opening the slider and using the 0.6 ohm pod gives more air and slightly more vapour, although it never becomes a wide-open lung vape. That is not the intention of this device anyway.

Do not fully close the airflow. I tried it once out of curiosity, and the pod instantly felt hotter because the coil is starved of airflow. Leaving even a small gap solves this.

Battery Life and Charging Notes

The 850mAh battery got me through most days comfortably. On my heaviest day, when I was doing video editing and vaping without noticing, it dropped to red by late afternoon. A quick Type C top-up takes under 30 minutes, which is genuinely helpful. I already have Type C cables everywhere, so the missing cable in the box did not annoy me, but others may find that less convenient.

The LED on the base is simple but does its job. Green means full, blue means half, and red means charge soon. I find the blue stage shorter when I am chain vaping, but that seems normal for small pod batteries.

Ease of Use and Everyday Practicality

Refilling is easy. The mouthpiece pops off with a clean click, and the fill port is wide enough that I can refill without touching the bottle tip to anything inside. The side-fill line is clear, helping avoid overfilling.

The pod stays surprisingly clean inside the chamber. After a couple of long sessions, I saw a thin line of condensation near the airflow opening, but nothing that pooled or caused gurgling. The inhale activation is instant. Some devices give a slight delay, but this one fires as soon as you draw.

Problems, Annoyances and Surprises

The airflow slider feels too small for micro adjustments

No USB C cable included

The LED being on the base means you cannot see it during the puff

The 0.6 ohm pod runs warmer during chain vaping, especially with sweeter nic salts

Real World Testing Notes

Pod lifespan is solid for a small Dual Mesh coil

Nic salts give the smoothest and most consistent flavour

Freebase 50/50 delivers a sharper hit without any wicking issues

Device stays comfortable to hold during long sessions

No leaking during the full week, just light condensation

Pocket comfort is excellent due to the lightweight aluminium shell

Pros and Cons

Pros

Strong flavour for a small refillable pod kit

Real airflow adjustment for both MTL and RDTL

Lightweight and comfortable to carry

Quick, clean refilling

Responsive inhale activation

Cons

No charging cable included

Airflow slider could be larger

LED placement is awkward to view

Flavour softens after several refills

Where the Cyberover P1 Actually Lands for Me

After a week of constant use, the Cyberover P1, produced by ELUX, has won me over as a simple, dependable everyday pod system. It works exceptionally well as a move away from disposables because the flavour stays stable throughout the day and the draw feels familiar. The device does not pretend to be a performance kit. It focuses on consistency, smooth flavour and ease of use. If you want something lightweight that fits easily into daily life and you mainly vape nic salts, I would happily recommend it.

FAQs: Elux Cyberover P1 Pod Kit

1. How long does the battery last in real daily use?
I consistently got a full workday out of the 850mAh battery. On days when I vaped heavily, I needed a quick half-hour recharge.

2. Is the Cyberover P1 good for nic salts?
Yes. The Dual Mesh pods handle nic salts really well, and the flavour stays smooth even with higher strengths.

3. Does it leak or get messy over time?
I did not have any leaks. Only a small amount of condensation builds up near the airflow slot after long sessions, which is normal for pod systems.

4. How do I get a proper tight MTL draw?
Use the 0.8 ohm pod and slide the airflow almost closed. That gives a cigarette-like pull without feeling suffocated.

5. What is the difference between the 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm pods?
The 0.6 ohm pod is warmer and slightly airier, good for a restricted lung vape. The 0.8-ohm pod delivers a tighter, more traditional MTL draw.

6. What type of e-liquid should I use?
Stick with 50/50 freebase or nic salts. Thicker, high-VG liquids will not wick properly.

7. How do I know when to charge it?
The LED lights up during each puff. Green is high, blue is mid and red means it needs charging soon.

8. How long do the pods last before losing flavour?
I got several refills before the flavour began to soften. Sweet liquids shorten the lifespan slightly, but the fade is gradual.

The post Elux Cyberover P1 Pod Kit Review first appeared on Vape Blog.
