I eyed the Geekvape Zeus, although it’s been out for a little while the reviews are good and and it looks superb, plus it has a locking cap, a thing which the Freemax Mesh Pro SORELY misses. I had been sideways glancing at the Geekvape Zeus sat on the shelf for over a week as the idea of changing bubbled in my consciousness. Then last Wednesday I grabbed it off the shelf, ripped off the sealed packaging and got excited as I primed the new tank. I let it sit for 10 minutes denying my urge to pick it up and start vaping straight away. I wanted to make sure I got the full vape experience as I knew the competition this tank had in with Mesh Pro.

After half an hour of vaping I was deflated. I had ruined a saleable product and was left with the calling of the Freemax Mesh Pro voodoo again. The Zeus is good as sub ohm tanks go, but in my opinion not a patch on the Freemax Mesh Pro. This isn’t the first time I have tried to leave the Mesh Pro and it won’t be the last either. I have tried the Cleito 120 (twice), Horizon Tech Falcon King and the Uwell Valyrian 2. The problem is that all the new sub-ohm tanks are built from the Freemax Mesh Pro origins and none, again in my opinion, match the depth of vape and flavour this tank creates. Even with it’s easy to leak top and having to mop up 5 ml of juice from my pocket or car stowaway every now and then, it’s still the most brilliant and top performing sub vape tank on the market.

So lastly, a shout out to FreeMax – PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, release a new Mesh pro with a lockable filler cap on the tank. I mean it can’t be hard, you guys already put one on the lower ranged Fireluke.

Its top cap has an efficient grip design so you won’t make a lot of mess and you’ll be able to refill quickly and easily without any problems. The only thing you need to watch out for is ensuring you don’t screw the top cap on too tightly, otherwise you’ll end up having to dismantle the whole tank to get it apart.

The 120 Has Easy Adjustment

When it comes to adjusting your air intake you won’t have any difficulty in customising your vape to suit your own preferences since the large air holes measure 11mm x 2mm, ensuring that you can focus on either flavor or vapor depending on your preferences.

Power And Performance

Handling as much as 120 W of power, you can expect the Aspire Cleito 120’s Maxi Watt coils to produce some amazing vapor clouds while simultaneously producing some pretty tasty vapor. Unfortunately, one of the problems comes when you crank the power up since the Delrin drip tip can become pretty hot and the vape itself can be too warm for some. On the downside too, while this tank doesn’t seem to have any spitback issues, it does guzzle that high VG e-juice, so if you’re looking for greater economy from your vape, you might want to give this tank a wide berth.

The Drip Tip

Unfortunately, one of the issues with this tank is that the drip tip can’t be switched out, so if you have a personal favourite this isn’t the tank for you since you’re stuck with the standard issue. Nevertheless, the one that comes pre-installed is pretty good and will satisfy most vapers.

An RTA deck comes as standard with the Aspire Cleito 120 tank, so if you’re not a big fan of the pre-installed Maxi Watt coil, no worries, simply build your own and you’re good to go. The Athos coils are also of the highest quality. The Tri-Coil has a 0.3 Ohm rating which is pretty good, but those who are looking for the highest cloud production are sure to love the Penta-coil head with its 0.16 Ohm rating which produces some seriously impressive vapour.

Negatives

One of the major drawbacks to the Athos tank is that it really sucks up e-juice at a phenomenal rate. This is never going to be the right tank for anyone who is keen to save as much e-liquid as possible.

I have been using the Aspire Atlantis for some time now and I am pleased to say that the statement by Aspirecig –  “The Atlantis performance is similar to even the best rebuildable atomizer…” – is absolutely true!

My Personal Review of The Aspire Atlantis Tank

I have been using the new Aspire Atlantis tank on a Cloupor T8 and have settled for 28 watts to suit my vaping requirements. I have used the Atlantis at 35 watts but as Im a PG vaper this is a little high for me personally. If you’re into your VG then this tank will perform up to the recommended 40 watts.

Personally I do not like the massive mouthpiece the Atlantis comes with, but because the tip is changeable, I easily replaced it with a slimmer stainless mouthpiece and WOW what a vape! I have got to say that for the first time in my vaping life I have experienced true satisfaction when it comes to throat hit, inhale, flavour intactness and vapour production using a non-RBA tank.

Cloud Vaping Using The Atlantis
We have all seen the cloud vapour produced by people using RBA’s. You know the ones… they usually let of a massive cloud just to announce their superiority over other vapers in The Vape Shop. If you have envied the cloud vaping abilities of RBA users but dislike the messiness of self build atomizers then the Atlantis is your chance to respond with a like-for-like vapour cloud. And rest assured this tank does perform exactly like the best of the RBA’s. Compared with the Tugboat V2 self build atomizer, for example, the Aspire Atlantis matched vapour cloud performance to the point we had to keep checking we were using the Atlantis and not made a mistake using an RBA as it just produced cloud after cloud.

Features Review Of The Aspire Sub Ohm Atlantis Tank
First of all the main feature of this new tank from Aspire is the Sub Ohm coil with a resistance of 0.5 ohms Aspire has managed to replicate the performance of most the top RBA’s. This Sub ohm coil can take up to 40 watts and deliver a massive cloud atomizer performance without all the finicky messy self build issues.

Another strong feature of the Aspire Atlantis is the special RDA-style airflow ring system located on the base which allows for various small to large airflow settings which are larger than the Nautilus tank.

The main parts of the Atlantis tank are, as you would expect, built from the best components such as pyrex tube, stainless steel housing and, adding in the special anti-leak design, really puts the Atlantis among the top tanks to own for serious vapers.

Battery Compatibility For The Atlantis
The Atlantis tank made by Aspirecig requires powerful batteries and WILL NOT work on traditional EGO style batteries. Aspire do sell a range of batteries suitable for the Atlantis however I use it with my Cloupor T8 (up to 150 watts). I have tried it with Vision Spinner 2’s and 1100mah EGO Twist and didn’t even produce a wisp! So definitely not for the average battery.
